The water

One source. Filtered through stone, not a factory.

Rain that fell on the hills takes years to travel down through ancient blue-lias limestone before rising again as a spring. That slow journey through the rock is what makes this water what it is, and why it's unlike anything bottled near here.

Founding membership

Why the first 1,000 matter.

Founding members shape the round and never pay more than they did on day one. When a source is full, that's it, there is no 1,001st.

Good questions

Before you reserve.

Is the water safe and tested? +

Yes. The source has been independently tested over two years to recognised drinking-water standards, with UKAS-accredited laboratory analysis. We publish the full results so you can see exactly what you're drinking.

Why members only, and why capped? +

A single local source has a finite, responsibly-abstracted yield. Capping each source at 1,000 founding members keeps the round genuinely local, the water fresh, and the source protected. It's a community supply, not a supermarket shelf.

When do I pay? +

Not today. Reserving holds your founding place at no cost. You'll set up your membership and founding rate when your source goes live on 1 August.

Delivery or collection? +

Both. Choose doorstep delivery in returnable glass, or collect from your village point. You can change your mind and your cadence any time after launch.

What makes this water different? +

It rises from one underground source through blue-lias limestone, comes out naturally soft and alkaline, and, as far as we know, it's the first water sourced and bottled in this area. Local, in the truest sense.
